Baghaei added at the press conference, "The International Atomic Energy Agency is an international body, and the responsibilities of the Director General are clear. The actions of the U.S. and the Israeli regime in attacking Iran's nuclear facilities were an illegal aggression, and the United Nations Security Council must confirm this and take necessary actions."
He continued, "The positions of Germany and France regarding the aggression against Iran are completely unacceptable and will create a historical shame for them. Some influential European countries, like Germany, have called into question the credibility of the entire European Union."
"Iran maintains conventional diplomatic relations with the three European countries, and communications and discussions are ongoing. Currently, there is no specific date set for the continuation of talks between Iran and the three European countries," the Spox. added.
He continued, "All actions and crimes of the Israeli regime are a blatant aggression, and numerous war crimes have been committed under it. The actions of the Israeli regime were carried out without reason or justification. From the very beginning, correspondence with the United Nations Security Council has taken place, and so far, ten correspondences and three meetings at the Security Council level have been held, with documentation of the crimes being prepared to be referred to human rights bodies."
The spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs continued: "There have been many reports about the Israeli regime's misuse of the territories of other countries, and we have shared them with the relevant countries. Neighboring countries know that allowing their territories for the hostile actions of other countries is prohibited, and they have all assured that they will not grant such permission. So far, all cases have been rejected by the countries, but the issue is still under follow-up."
Baghaei, referring to the twelve-day imposed war by Israel against Iran, paid tribute to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the homeland during this period.
Baghaei also added, "Iran-Egypt relations are growing and we have had continuous and useful contacts with them, and we hope that the trend that has developed in the last two years will lead to the establishment of a diplomatic process."
Grossi's insistence on visiting Iran's nuclear facilities is incomprehensible
Ismail Baghai responded to a question from Iran Press news agency about Grossi's statements about who believes the IAEA report to be the reason for Israel's attacks, stating, "The statement he made about who believes it? It is very clear, and this happened."
Baghai added, "Put the timing of the events together and see how many hours after the Board of Governors issued the resolution, which was based on the report issued by the Director General, the Zionist regime took this action. This should not be considered as an exoneration of the Zionist regime."
"In no way does the IAEA report and the subsequent resolution provide any legal basis to justify the actions of the U.S. and Israel, but it was an excuse that created the conditions for committing this crime at this time."
The spokesman stated, "The IAEA must be held accountable."
Baghaei continued, "The Director General's insistence at this point in time is incomprehensible to us. It has only been a few days since the Israeli and American aggression, and under these circumstances, it is illogical to expect cooperation between Iran and the Agency to proceed normally, and to ensure the safety of inspectors when we still do not have an accurate estimate of the damage."
