Iran daily COVID death toll declines to 286

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced that 286 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 118,191.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to September 22, 2021, on Wednesday 5,477,229 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 4,846,771 infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 17,433 cases, out of whom 2,164 patients were hospitalized.

6,632 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 31,331,261 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 57 cities are red, 238 are orange, and 136 are yellow zones.

So far, 32,250,543 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 14,648,891 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 46,899,434 doses.
