Protests have erupted in Sydney, Australia, against a company that plays a key role in supplying components and technical services for Israel’s F-35s, which are used in continuing the genocide in Gaza.

The protests turned violent following police intervention. During the arrest and detention of several protesters, Hannah Thomas, a member of the Australian Greens Party, sustained serious injuries to her face and eye.

Sue Higginson, a Greens MP, criticized the police's violent conduct, stating that pro-Palestinian activists in Australia have the legal right to hold demonstrations and that the police actions were unlawful.

Demonstrators believe that anti-Israel sentiment has become a major movement in today’s world and that this is a highly significant historical moment. Unfortunately, the Prime Minister of Australia has remained silent on the issue and it has sparked anger and resentment among pro-Palestinian activists toward Anthony Albanese.
