Tehran (IP)-Iran's president at the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the new Latvia's new Ambassador to Tehran, said that Iran could boost trade between Asia and Europe due to its geographical location.

Iran PressIran News:  Ebrahim Raisi added: "The presence of the United States and NATO in Afghanistan did not ensure the security of Afghanistan or the region, and it had no other achievement than destruction and killing."

Iran is opposed to any move that would lead the world to unilateralism and war," he said.

Pēteris Vaivars, Latvia’s new Ambassador in the meeting, referring to the 100th anniversary of his country's diplomatic relations with Iran, said: "We are interested in expanding relations with Iran based on mutual understanding and friendship to ensure the interests of the two countries."

Iran, Estonia have diverse capacities to cooperate 

Speaking at the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the new non-resident Ambassador of Estonia on Monday, Raisi referred to the historical background of friendly relations between the two countries, saying, "Iran and Estonia have various capacities in political, economic and trade fields, especially the North-South Corridor."

The President added, "Strengthening bilateral relations between Iran and Estonia will be a platform for promoting cooperation and international interactions between the two countries."

"Estonia is interested in expanding its relations with the Islamic Republic of Iran in various fields," said the Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia, referring to the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

 Iran opposes clashes, killing of innocent people anywhere

Speaking on Monday at the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the new Ambassador of Montenegro, Ebrahim Raisi said that Iran has always had good, developing relations with the countries situated in the Balkans, including Montenegro, saying, "The two countries have good potential in various fields for the development of interactions and improving the level of relations."

The President described the history of the war in the Balkans as a bitter experience for the region and the world, adding, "War is by no means a desirable event and one of the main policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran has always been to support peace, stability, and progress and to oppose the war."

Referring to the history of friendly relations between the Islamic Republic of Iran and Montenegro, president Ebrahim Raisi stated, "The two countries have good capacities to improve the level of bilateral relations."

"I will try to strengthen the mechanisms for the development of bilateral relations so that the two countries can develop interactions and relations," said the Ambassador of Montenegro.

Cultural and civilizational backgrounds of Iran, Nepal are reasonable grounds for interaction

Speaking in a ceremony of receiving credentials of the new ambassador of Nepal to Tehran, Ebrahim Raisi referred to the cultural and civilizational common grounds among Asian countries, including Iran and Nepal, and said, "The two countries can enrich their relations and interactions by relying on their rich cultural and civilizational background in various political, economic and especially cultural fields."

"Iran and Nepal have always had good and friendly relations," he said, adding, "Today, western domineering powers have put the emphasis of their cultural invasion on rich cultural resources of non-western countries, and it is essential that we make more efforts to protect our culture and civilisation, including in the field of human rights."

The Ambassador of the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal also expressed his country's interest in further enhancing relations and interactions with the Islamic Republic of Iran, saying, "The two countries have very close common grounds and cultural closeness, in a way that there are hundreds of Persian words in the Nepali language, and we must use these appropriate cultural contexts to develop relations in various fields."

Iran, Armenia has always had friendly relations based on good neighborliness

Speaking on Monday at the ceremony of receiving the credentials of the new Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, Ebrahim Raisi also said that the two countries have always had friendly relations based on good neighborliness, adding, "There are various potentials for the development of friendly, long-lasting relations between Tehran and Yerevan."

Referring to the firm policy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in opposing any aggression, the President added, "What has distinguished Iran today from other countries in the world has been the moral position of our country against the aggression of the United States and hegemonic countries. Raisi emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran has always supported the right of national sovereignty and respect for the territorial integrity of countries.

the new ambassador of the Republic of Armenia, in a meeting with  Ebrahim Raisi, said: Armenia is ready to raise the relations between the two countries to the level of strategic considerations.

 Iran's foreign policy is to develop fair relations with different countries

Ebrahim Raisi, at the ceremony of receiving the credentials of "Gerard Bique Baku," Ambassador of the Republic of Burundi, expressed his hope for the expansion of relations between the two countries and said: We are trying to realize the existing capacities to provide mutual benefits.

The President added: "We pursue relations with different countries to ensure mutual interests and this is one of the main axes of diplomacy of the Islamic Republic of Iran, while Western countries explicitly state that in relations with other countries they only seek their own unilateral interests."

Gerard Bique Baku, the ambassador to Burundi, said: "The Republic of Burundi is interested in raising its relations with Iran to the highest possible level and making a redoubled effort to make up for the delays caused by the Corona epidemic in the past two years."
