More than 186,000 COVID-19 patients recovered across Iran: Health Ministry Spox
The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari today in her presser said, so far, 225.205 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 186,180 of total infected people have recovered.
Iran Press/ Iran News: Sima Sadat Lari on Monday about the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus, said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 29, 2,536 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed and the number of patients with this disease reached 225,205."
1,461 of the new patients were hospitalized, She said.
Fortunately, 186,180 patients have recovered and discharged so far, Lari added.
The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 162 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 10,670 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
The official stated, "3,037 patients are in intensive care units."
So far, around 1, 639, 087 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.
The provinces of Khuzestan, Kurdistan, West and East Azerbaijan, Kermanshah, Hormozgan, Bushehr, and Khorasan Razavi have the most cases of COVID-19 disease and are in the red alert.
The provinces of Ilam, Lorestan, and Golestan are on the Yellow alert.
