Tehran (IP) - The spokeswoman for the Ministry of Health, Sima Sadat Lari said, so far, 189,876 people in the country have definitely been infected with the coronavirus, and 150,590 of total infected people have recovered.

Iran Press/Iran News: Iran's Ministry of Health and Medical Education Spokeswoman Sima Sadat Lari on Monday 15 June reported the latest data on the coronavirus in the country and the deaths caused by the virus.

She said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to June 15 in the country, 2,449 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 189,876."

Fortunately, 150,590 patients have recovered and discharged so far, Lari added.

The Spokeswoman said, "Unfortunately, in the past 24 hours, 113 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, and 8,950 people have lost their lives in the country to date."

The official stated, "2,765 patients are in a critical condition."

So far, around 1,269,194 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," the Health Ministry spokeswoman said.
