Iran Press/ America: Majid Taheri was sentenced to 16 months in prison for allegedly violating the unilateral laws of anti-Iranian sanctions.
On Thursday night, Iranian Foreign Minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif, confirmed in a tweet that Majid Taheri's release from the US prison had been confirmed and this process could happen to all prisoners.
All Iranians who have been held hostage by the United States in other countries or in this country," the foreign minister tweeted. They must be returned home.
Taheri's plane is scheduled to land at Tehran's Imam Khomeini International Airport on Monday morning.
Taheri's arrival in the homeland will be broadcast live on Iran Press News Agency at 3:00 AM local time (22:30 GMT Sunday).
