Gambia (IP) - The 15th meeting of Islamic Cooperation Organization's (OIC) Heads of State and Government kicked off as the Iranian Foreign Minister took part in the summit in the Gambian capital city of Banjul on Saturday.

Iran PressAfrica: In the meeting underway in Sir Dawda Kairaba Jawara  International Conference Center in Banjul, the Capital city of Gambia, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian Iranian Foreign Minister is supposed to elaborate on Iran's stances concerning the Islamic world's developments and regional and international issues, especially the situation of Gaza under war.

The 15th meeting of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation is underway from May 4 to 5 and will concentrate on "promoting unity and solidarity through dialogue on sustainable development."

Besides Iran's FM, other participants discuss various issues and challenges of the Islamic world, especially the issue of Palestine and the current situation in Gaza. 

Also, three documents will be presented to the Council of Foreign Ministers and then the Head of States summit: a draft for the Palestinian resolution, the draft of the Banjul statement, and the draft of the final document of the summit meeting.
