Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) has emphasized that the Islamic Republic of Iran is a great power in the world and that no one can defeat Iran.

Iran press/Iran news: Major General Hussein Salami added: "We were and are under maximum pressure by our enemies, maximum pressure economically, politically, and psychologically. Our enemies have even mobilized various terrorist groups against us, and they are engaging in a media war against us, but we are staunchly defending our territory and standing tall in front of all of them."

Elsewhere in his remarks, Major General Salami said: "The Islamic Republic will be built by young people. They are the future of this country. We have stood our ground and stood firm for the past 40 years when the enemies lined-up against us," Iran Press reported.

Turning to the eight years of sacred defense, Commander of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC) said all of Islamic Iran's dignity, grandeur, identity, and pride stems from the heroic resilience and resistance of those glorious years, the eight years of sacred defense.

Major General Salami went on to say: "The greatness of every nation has got nothing to do with the Geographic area that it occupies, rather the greatness of a nation is linked to the talents, abilities, skills, power of imagination and depth of thought of the men and women who make up that nation."

He said: "the Islamic revolution came to renew the golden age of Islamic civilization in the new era. We have passed the difficult years. We have fought with powerful countries and gained many achievements."
