Iranian parliament holds open session

Iran's parliament held an open session to review implementation of the general policies of the Article 44 of Constitution on privatizing state-owned companies.

Iran Press/Iran News: The open session of the Iranian parliament, got underway Saturday with Speaker Ali Larijani chairing the session and about 195 Iranian MPs present, according to Iran Press report.

The following are on Parliament agenda:

Report of the Special Committee of Support for National Production and Monitoring the Constitutional Article 44 on the Motion of Amendment to the Law on Implementation of General Policies of the Constitutional Article 44

Report of the Agriculture, Water and Natural Resources Committee on the Bill on Soil Conservation

Report of the Cultural Affairs Committee on a law to protect citizen undertaking "enjoining good and forbidding wrong".

Report of the Councils and Civil Affairs Committee on the law regarding the activities of political and professional parties and groups.

Iranian Parliament also reviewed a report of flaws pointed out by the Guardian Council on the Law on Implementation of General Policies of the Constitutional Article 44 and the Bill on Soil Conservation. 101/104
