Iranian Greco-Roman wrestlers snatched one silver and one bronze medals in Hungary's wrestling Grand Prix - the Poly?k Imre Memorial tournament.

Iran Press/Iran news: Reza Khedri won silver medal in 55kg category while Meisam Delkhani grabbed bronze in the 63kg category.  In 55kg class, Khedri defeated his rival from Algeria 8-0 in the first round.

The Hungarian Grand Prix was held in Györ, Hungary on 23 and 24 February, IRNA reported.

Reza Khedri also overpowered a Hungarian athlete but he conceded defeat against an Uzbek rival in third round. In the fourth round as well as the final competition he defeated his rivals, winning silver medal.

Delkhani won bronze in ranking competition against a Norwegian wrestler.

Some 11 Iranian wrestlers participated in the weight categories of 55, 63, 72, 82, 97, 60, 67, 77, 87 and 130 kg.Wrestlers from Algeria, Belarus, Chile, China, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland Georgia, Germany, Italy, Moldova, Norway, Romania, Slovakia, Sweden, Ukraine and the US participated in the event. 

Imre Polyák was a featherweight Greco-Roman wrestler from Hungary. He competed in the 1952, 1956, 1960 and 1964 Olympics and won three silver and one gold medal. Polyák won the world titles in 1955, 1958 and 1962, and was placed second in 1961 and 1963. 104/211
