The Head of Iran's Ports and Maritime Organization (PMO) has said Iran proved its legitimacy regarding the anti-Iran sanctions in the highest maritime authority.

Iran Press/Iran news: Referring to unilateral and illegal sanctions against Iran shipping industry, the head of  Iran's PMO, Mohammad Rastad has said Iran marine community proved the legitimacy of the Islamic Republic regarding anti-Iran sanctions in the world highest maritime authority.

According to Iran Press, Rastad on Monday at the 13th international Conference on Coasts, Ports and Marine Structures Conference ( ICOPMAS 2018) in Tehran added, there are "false measures" to prevent Iran's uninterrupted and unobstructed activities in the field of maritime and port processes.

The Head of Iran's PMO said, on maritime engineering and construction of marine structures, Iran is among the most self-sufficient and advanced countries in the world, so that all of Iran's mega port projects are designed by Iranian engineers.

Rastad added Iran's capabilities on marine engineering are high and the country is developing vast projects.

The 13th international Conference on Coasts, Ports and Marine Structures Conference (ICOPMAS 2018) is holding in Tehran and will continue until November 28. 105/210
