Tehran's interim Friday prayers leader, has emphasized that America's hegemony is on the decline, and the countries of the Middle East region are getting more powerful.

Speaking to a huge gathering of worshipers and the faithful at Tehran's Friday prayers, Hojjatoleslam Mohammad Hassan AbuTorabi Fard said:  "Today, we are witnessing the gradual decline of America's hegemony and at the same time the rising power of regional nations."

In further remarks, AbuTorabi Fard said:  "The myth of US democracy has been replaced by hatred, racism, bullying and sectarianism. Today, all countries, big and small, hate America's foreign policy".

He went on to praise Iran's rising power, and the power of "the axis of resistance in the region".

Commenting further, AbuTorabi Fard said: "The Islamic resistance front has unnerved and unhinged US imperialism."
