Referring to certain restrictions and external pressures, Masoud Pezeshkian stressed that governing the country under current conditions involves significant challenges. He said that moving through this period with minimal costs and damage requires not only comprehensive efforts by the government but also public awareness, coordination among state institutions, and activating community capacities.
Speaking at a cabinet meeting, the president noted that part of Iran’s economic difficulties stems from external constraints, while another part is the result of pressures associated with the country’s specific circumstances.
“The government and executive bodies are making every effort to ensure that the country passes through this stage with the least possible cost and harm,” he said.
Pezeshkian emphasized that the current situation is neither ordinary nor simple.
Alongside executive measures, the government has prioritized utilizing the capacities of trade unions, chambers of commerce, universities, mosques, local communities and professional organizations as a key approach to managing the situation and overcoming challenges, the president concluded.
