Hanzala hacker group said it was behind the breach of the website of the so-called National Center for Holocaust Victim Support, and more than 2 million documents were accessed and released online.

According to the group, the cyber operation targeted k-shoa.org, the website of the organization, and resulted in the extraction of databases, classified files, confidential emails, and sensitive correspondence.

Hanzala said the leaked material totals more than one terabyte and is now available for download on its website. The group described the breach as a multi-layered cyber intrusion, though the claims have not yet been independently verified.

The organization targeted by the hack has not publicly confirmed the breach at the time of reporting. If verified, the incident would represent one of the largest data exposures involving a Holocaust-related institution in recent years.
