Iran Press/ Iran News: The US Treasury announced on Monday that it has placed the names of new companies on the sanctions list under the pretext of connection with Iran. These companies are based in UAE, China, Singapore and Malaysia.
The US is considered to be the biggest embargoing country in the world, which in line with its goals and interests has the greatest history of applying all kinds of sanctions against other countries.
The spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Tuesday morning: "The White House's addiction to sanctions and their instrumental use is an indicator of the US arrogance, and the change of governments in this country does not make a difference in its approach."
The spokesman of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran added: "Officials of the Biden administration have repeatedly admitted that Trump's policy of maximum pressure was a failed, an ineffective policy; however, in practice, they have continued and even expanded this failed policy, to the extent that even in the process of ongoing efforts to resume negotiations for US return to the deal, they have not stopped this fruitless and destructive action."
Kanani stressed: "the Islamic Republic of Iran will show a decisive, firm and immediate response to the White House's insistence on the continuation of sanctions, and Iran will use all necessary measures to neutralize the possible negative effects of such sanctions on the country's trade and economy."
In the end, the spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran clarified: "These sanctions, right at the same time as the people of Iran have suffered a lot of hardship and financial losses due to the flood, clearly reveal the falsehood of US Special Envoy for Iran's condolences."
The new US sanctions have been imposed in a situation where Joe Biden's government claims that it intends to provide the necessary grounds for his country's return to the JCPOA nuclear agreement through negotiations. 219
