Yemeni army spokesman Yahya Saree

A Yemeni Army spokesman has said Yemen manufactures six sophisticated home-built unmanned drones every day.

Iran Press/Middle East: A spokesman for the Yemeni army Yahya Saree emphasized that Yemen possesses modern sophisticated drones, adding that the drones are equipped with a kind of advanced technology that makes them 'invisible' to Saudi Radar.

He made the remarks in an exclusive interview with Iran Press News Agency.

Commenting on the United Arab Emirates' participation in the Yemen war, Brigadier General Saree stressed: "If the UAE continues its attacks on Yemen, then the Yemeni army will target the United Arab Emirates as much as it targets Saudi Arabia."

On 14 September, Yemeni Army said that unmanned Yemeni aircraft has attacked two Saudi oil refineries deep inside the country, hitting the Abqaiq oil processing facility and the Kharis oil refinery in eastern Saudi Arabia.

The Saudi regime and a number of its allies including the United Arab Emirates and Sudan launched a war against Yemen in March 2015, ostensibly to restore fugitive president Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi to power.
