Seyed Muqtada Sadr condemns drone attack on PMU cars

Iraqi Sadr Group's leader said that the Israeli regime is not so courageous to be the cause of the recent changes in Iraq, referring in his tweeter to an anonymous drone attack on a PMU's cars.

Iran Press/Middle East: Seyed Muqtada al-Sadr added that in case the Israelis commit such a foolish act they will face a harsh response, remarking that the Zionist regime is not capable of doing that.

Sunday evening, an unidentified drone targeted two cars of Iraq's Popular Mobilization Unit (PMU) in al-Anbar province, west of the country, Iran Press reported.

The military headquarters of PMU the of have been targeted four times during the recent month.   

In the wake of the recent attacks, PMU's deputy chairman, Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis announced in a statement that the US and Israeli regime are behind the attacks and that in case of repetition they will be confronted.

The US and Israeli regime have increased pressures on PMU after the popular organization defeated terrorist groups in the region.

Iraq's Popular Mobilization Unit (PMU), as one of the major members of the Resistance Front, plays a key role in countering US-Israeli regime axis' plots in the Middle East region.
