Iran Press/Iran news: Iran's Health Ministry Spokesman, Kianoush Jahanpour on his daily press conference on Sunday said that "In the past 24 hours, 51 COVID-19 patients have lost their lives, so 6,640 people have lost their lives in the country to date."
Jahanpour also said: "According to the definitive laboratory findings and from yesterday to May 10 in the country, 1,383 new patients with COVID-19 were diagnosed in the country and the number of patients with this disease reached 107,603."
Iran's Health Ministry Spokesman announced that 6,640 people have died due to the virus to the date and from 107,603 infected people in the country, 86,143 infected patients have recovered and discharged from hospitals so far.
Kianoush Jahanpour said, "2,675 patients are in a critical condition."
"So far, 586,699 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted in the country," according to the spokesman.
