Mazandaran (IP)- The 50-million-years-old Hyrcanian forests of the Caspian Sea, was registered as a world heritage site in the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). The registration ceremony was held in the city of Babolsar in Mazandaran province, in northern Iran, with the Minister of Culture, Handicrafts, and Tourism attending.
