Iran Press/ Iran news: At the beginning of his weekly press conference, on Monday morning in the Iran Expo 2024 venue while congratulating the National Day of the Persian Gulf, the Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nasser Kanaani said: "The Persian Gulf is part of the undeniable historical and cultural identity of the West Asian region."
Stating that the Persian Gulf region is an important part of Iran's neighborhood policy, he said: "We consider the strengthening of relations with all the Persian Gulf states as the most important factor of stability, security, and peace in this strategic region."
The spokesperson of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs then added: "Iran has always been a herald of strengthening friendship and brotherhood in the Persian Gulf region and believed that the countries of the region had the necessary ability for sustainable development and prosperity."
Multilateral meetings, an opportunity to explain Tehran's views on security issues
The spokesperson of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs further at his weekly presser said that Iran has always taken the opportunity of multilateral meetings to explain its views, especially in the fields of regional and international security."
Kanaani further stated that the trip of Iran's Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council to Russia took place within the framework of the 12th International Meeting of High Representatives for Security Issues, and said: "Iran has always taken the opportunity of multilateral meetings to explain its views, especially in the fields of regional and international security."
Stating that various issues, including cyber security, were raised in the discussions of the Iranian delegation, the most important of which is the Palestinian issue, Kanaani said that cyber security was a priority issue for the Iranian delegation.
IRGC, Biggest international force in fighting multilateral terrorism
The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs called IRGC the biggest international force in fighting multilateral terrorism whose role is decisive in ensuring security.
Stating that Tehran has a clear position regarding the recent meeting of the European Union and has officially reacted to the event, The Spokesman of Iran's Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: "We have announced our official reaction. The IRGC is Iran's official military force and plays the most important decisive role in ensuring Iran's national security."
Stressing that the IRGC has played an important role in the economic development and prosperity of Iran for the nation, Iran's Top Diplomat emphasized: "IRGC is the biggest international force in fighting terrorism."
"Noting that members of the European Parliament should note that without the IRGC's fight against multilateral terrorism in the region, they would have been exposed to the danger of Takfiri and multinational terrorism behind the doors of this organization. We advise them to think correctly about the IRGC and to think carefully and many times before making any decision" he added.
