Tehran (IP) - Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said on Monday in his weekly press conference that senior Chinese and Indian officials will travel to Tehran after the Iranian foreign minister's visit.

Iran Press/Iran news: Seyyed Abbas Mousavi described the recent trip of Iranian foreign minister, Mohammad Javad Zarif to Latin American and African countries as constructive and fruitful.

The spokesman said the timing of the trip of senior Chinese and Indian officials will be announced as soon as possible.

Answering a question on Sunday's meeting of Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) signatories in Vienna, Mousavi said: "This meeting was a step forward but there was no special agreement."

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman said he couldn't confirm speculation that the aim of the Omani foreign minister's trip to Iran was to mediate between Tehran and London.
