Serbia's ambassador to Tehran has described Iran-Serbia relations as excellent, stressing that the volume of trade between the two countries has increased by 150 percent during the past year.

Iran Press/Iran news: On the sideline of the Nowruz festival, which was held in Neyavaran Palace in Tehran, in an exclusive interview with Iran Press correspondent on Tuesday night,  Dragan Todorovic Serbia's ambassador to Tehran said: "I am very happy to say the political relations between Serbia and Iran are at their highest-ever level."

He added: "Iran and Serbia's political relation are at a high level and I must stress, economic relations between the two countries are much better than before. I just want to say that during last year our economic trade exchange was 150 percent more than the previous year (the year before)."

Todorovic went on to say: "This is the best sign. We respect each other and the two countries are cooperating very well." 101/211/202
