Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has called for mass demonstrations across the country to protest against crimes in Indian controlled Kashmir.

Iran PressAsia: Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has called for mass demonstrations across the country to protest against India's actions in Indian controlled Kashmir, as tensions between the nuclear-armed rivals continued to boil, reported Khaleej Times.

"I want all Pakistanis to come out on Friday 12 noon-12.30 pm to show solidarity with the Kashmiri people," Khan wrote on Twitter.

He said the plan to change demography of Indian Kashmir was a war crime under the 4th Geneva Convention. Khan has asked for weekly nationwide rallies until he leaves for New York next month to attend the United Nations General Assembly, where he vowed to raise the issue and to act as an ambassador for all Kashmiris.

Last week on August 23, UN experts expressed concern regarding the restrictions on the movement of people and of peaceful assembly in Kashmir.
