Amir Saeid Iravani stated that the five Arab states enabled and, in some cases, directly participated in attacks against Iran by allowing their territories to be used by the United States and Israel.
The statement said that on February 28, 2026, the U.S. and Israel launched a joint war of aggression on Iran in complete violation of international law using the territories of Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, UAE, and Jordan.
The mentioned Arab states cannot legitimately invoke Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations against the Islamic Republic of Iran, since Iran is the victim of aggression and is exercising its inherent right of self-defense, the Iranian envoy added.
Amir Saeid Iravani pointed out the fact that in some cases, unlawful armed attacks against civilian targets in the Islamic Republic of Iran have been directly committed by these same States.
