Judiciary spox :

Iran (IP) - The spokesman of the Judiciary, while expressing his sorrow for the terrorist attack in Shah Cheragh, said that so far two court sessions for investigations had been held.

Iran PressIran news: On Wednesday, October 26, a terrorist armed with a machine gun opened fire on the pilgrims and evening prayer worshippers at the Shah Cheragh holy shrine in Shiraz, martyred 13 innocent people and seriously wounding 25 others.

In a press conference on Tuesday, Masoud Setayeshi, the spokesperson of the Judiciary, in response to Iran Press's question regarding the accused in  Shah Cheragh terrorist attack, added: "The first court session was held on 7th of February and the second session was held on 13th. The next sessions will be held soon."

Pointing out that special attention has been paid to this case, he noted: "Five accused have been identified and, all of them are foreigners."

In another part of the press conference, the spokesman of the judiciary, referring to the amnesty of the leader regarding the accused of the recent unrest in Iran, said: "The amnesty was done in order to create unity among the people, and the exact details and figures of this precious amnesty will be announced by the end of February."

In response to a question about creating a "discussion atmosphere" and "interaction" with different tastes in society, Setayeshi said: "The head of the judiciary has had and will have meetings with different groups."

He also about the terrorist attack on the Azerbaijani embassy stated: "The case is being investigated confidentially. Investigations are being done carefully and the results will be announced soon."
