Tehran (IP) - As the enemies saw Iran was in progress, they began their project of creating riots in the country, said the spokesman of Iran's government.

Iran PressIran News: Speaking at his weekly conference on Tuesday, Ali Bahadori-Jahromi said the enemies proved that the path in which the Islamic Republic was going forward was the right path.

He then addressed the growth of the country and the people's livelihood and told reports that the administration's path to ease the negative economic growth was right but would take time to achieve it.

To clarify that, he exampled the country's transit, explaining that Iran's geographical situation, which was a suitable route for transiting goods, increased the country's foreign trade to 4 percent from zero during the past decade.

Still, he referred to the foreign-backed media and social networks that fueled the violence in Iran and noted that it was shameful that those media did not talk about their counties where the police raped a woman and killed her.

Administration seeking special sites for protests in universities

The spokesman of Iran's government said the administration has decided to determine special sites in the country's universities.

Ali Bahadori-Jahromi mentioned the Leader of the Islamic Revolution's stress on the free expression of opinions in the universities and allowing for special sites in the academic centers.

Bahadori-Jahromi said the administration has put the establishment of free dialog forums in the universities on its agenda and tasked the relevant departments to implement the project.

Unrest and brawls were instigated under the pretext of Mahsa Amini, 22, who died due to a sudden heart attack in a police center in Tehran on Tuesday, September 13, after being taken there for violation of dress codes along with some other women.

Under the pretext of Mahsa's death, the anti-Iranian media and bloggers affiliated with the Western states have been disseminating fake news and fueling the unrest in Iran.

Iran, Caspian Sea states seek to remove dollar from transactions

Iran's Government Spokesman says the country seeks the formation of a common financial and banking system, including the stripping of dollars from financial transactions in the Caspian Sea region.

Attending his press brief on Tuesday, Ali Bahadori-Jahormi said in response to Iran Press that in the second edition of the Caspian Sea Economic Forum, bilateral and multilateral meetings were held, and the ministers accompanying Iranian First Vice President Mohmmad Mokhber also had meetings with economic activists.

Ali Bahadori-Jahormi pointed out that agreements were reached regarding the completion of the North-South trade corridor, the Rasht-Astara railway, and the electrification of some of these routes, which facilitate trading and give many benefits to Iran.

He stated that the 300-million population in the Caspian Sea littoral states is a target community and a huge common market so that they can have a common market of between 600 and 700 billion dollars, which includes Iran as well. In the energy field, efforts were made to provide sustainable electricity to the region to unify electricity frequencies, he said.

The spokesman also reported that Iran would soon host a technical-legal delegation from Russia's Gazprom company to complete oil and gas contracts.

Heading a high-ranking political-economic delegation, Iranian First Vice President Mohmmad Mokhber left Tehran for Moscow on Wednesday afternoon, October 5, 2022, to take part in the second Caspian Economic Forum at the invitation of Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Vladimirovich Mishustin.
