Martyr Soleimani combat patrol vessel is an incat catamaran. Only three countries in the world can design and build aluminum vessels with a length of more than 60 meters, and Iran is one of them.
Features
Martyr Soleimani combat patrol vessel is 67-meter long and has a 600-ton displacement weight. According to its design, it is capable of sailing and carrying out all kinds of operations in distant waters and under adverse sea and ocean conditions. This vessel has much higher maneuverability and a much smaller turning radius than vessels of the same size.
Martyr Soleimani vessel is equipped with four indigenized high-powered engines, which enables a quick presence on the scene of operations, as well as long-range seafaring capabilities in distant waters without the need for coastal support. The range of this combat patrol vessel is 5,000 nautical miles.
The ability to carry helicopters and provide landing and take-off platform at night and day, move in rough waters concerning oceanic missions, take and launch various types of fast offensive vessels and launch vertical flight UAVs during navigation based on the capability of combined combat (air and missile) in distant waters are also other features of this vessel.

Martyr Soleimani vessel is equipped with the most advanced detection, radar, telecommunications and electronic warfare systems in the field of intelligence and identification and monitoring of targets and surface, subsurface and aerial traffic. Among this vessel's other features are indigenized self-protection systems, modern communication and telecommunication equipment (equipped with all types of encoders) and data links.
This vessel is Iran's first combat vessel equipped with vertically launched, short-range and medium-range air defense systems. Among the capabilities of this vessel is firing defense missiles from vertical launch launchers up to a range of more than 150 km. It is equipped with automatic and semi-automatic systems and 20 mm and 30 mm cannons for peripheral defense in conflict with flying and surface targets.
It is equipped with the first combined launch system of surface-to-surface short and medium-range missiles with the benefit of an operation room based on indigenized software for integrated management of the battle scene with the ability to detect the target type or threat and assign them to offensive and defensive systems.
Another feature of the Martyr Soleimani vessel is providing accommodation space for accompanying staff to carry out combat and training missions and a medical room with complete rescue equipment.
Martyr Soleimani vessel is considered the most armed vessel in the entire Iranian naval fleet. It has a powerful combination of weapons, including anti-surface, anti-subsurface, anti-aircraft and offensive operations, using its speedboats.
In addition, this vessel can receive helicopters; at first, it was thought only to receive light helicopters, but due to the reception of Bell 4012, it has higher strength, and in the offensive field, it can carry a Shahed-285 helicopter in full load mode.
