Iran Press/ Europe: Hossein Amir Abdollahian, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Iran, on Sunday discussed and exchanged ideas with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, regarding the latest developments in Gaza and the conditions in the region.
Since last Friday, various areas of the Gaza Strip have witnessed criminal attacks by the Zionist regime.
Following the Zionists' crimes, the Al-Quds Brigades, the military branch of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad movement, have also started retaliatory attacks with their rockets and mortars.
According to the Iran press, in this telephone conversation, while condemning the brutal aggression of the usurping Zionist regime in targeting dozens of Palestinian women and children, Amir- Abdollahian considered this regime's action as the initiator of the recent military attacks to be a direct result of aggressive nature of the Zionist regime.
Iran's Foreign Minister called the Zionist regime's action about Al-Aqsa Mosque provocative.
In this telephone conversation, Qatar's foreign minister also condemned the recent action of the Al-Quds occupying regime, mentioned the efforts to establish a ceasefire, and called the provocative act of the Israeli regime in Al-Aqsa Mosque the reason for the escalation of the recent military clashes.
Israel Agrees to Egypt-brokered Truce; Cairo waiting for Palestinian response

Resistance targeted Israel with 600 rockets
Israeli state radio says nearly 600 Palestinian rockets and mortars have been fired at Israel in the last 48 hours.
On Sunday, rockets fired from Gaza Strip even reached Jerusalem.
According to Israeli local media reports, Resistance Forces launched rockets toward central and southern Israel Sunday afternoon. The latest round of fighting between Israel and Gaza continues into its third day.
Emergency sirens were sounded in the southern city of Beersheba just after 3:00 p.m. Sunday, with sirens also sounded in western Negev towns including Netivot, Beit Hagdi, Magalim, Givolim, and Mlilot.
Rockets were also fired towards the coastal city of Ashdod, with emergency sirens heard in Tekuma, Kfar Maimon, Tushia, and other nearby towns.
