Tehran (IP) - Iran's Foreign Minister wrote a letter expressing his deep concerns to the Islamic and international institutions about Israeli crimes against the people in the Gaza Strip.

Iran PressIran news: Different parts of the Gaza Strip in Palestine were pounded by the Israeli fighters, where at least 24 people, including a 5-year-old child, were martyred and 215 others were injured.

In the letter, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian addressed the Islamic countries' foreign ministers, UN Secretary-General, Secretary-General of Islamic Cooperation Organization (OIC), Head of Non-Aligned Movement (NAM), and African Union's Secretary-General.

The Iranian FM held the apartheid regime of Israel accountable for the consequences of the escalating crisis in Gaza and other parts of occupied Palestine.

He considered the defense of land and fight against occupation to be the taken-for-granted right of the Palestinian people and called on international bodies, especially the UN Security Council, to condemn the Israeli aggression immediately and decisively.

In retaliation for the Israeli air raids on Gaza, the Palestinian resistance forces, Quds brigades, targeted the Israeli-occupied lands with rockets and mortar shells.
