"The strength of the Zionist regime is declining and the liberation of the Holy Quds is so close," Salami said.

He added, "Today the power of the Palestinian resistance has expanded so that they are capable of managing major wars."

He noted that the Zionists would pay a heavy cost for their recent crimes.

The Palestinian side, for his part, appreciated the support of the Islamic Republic of Iran for the Palestinian resistance and Intifada.

He added, "The Islamic Republic of Iran’s stand and confrontation against the US and the Zionist regime makes the Palestinian people happy and increases the morale of the Palestinian fighters."

Al-Nakhalah vowed that the Islamic Jihad would continue with its resistance along with other Palestinian resistance groups so as to give a timely response to any aggression by the Zionist regime.
