Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 23 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,919.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to April 21, 2022, 7,213,808 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,958,045 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,413 cases, of whom 169 patients were hospitalized.

1,173 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 50,655,902 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 55 cities are red, 84 are orange, 274 are Yellow and 35 are blue zones.

So far, 64,253,468 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 57,443,882 have received the second dose, 26,874,932 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 148,572,282 doses.
