Tehran (IP) - The head of the Noora anti-COVID vaccine research project reported the successful clinical test on the volunteers in the third phase.

Iran PressIran news: Jafar Soleimanian said on Thursday that the results of the third phase of Noora vaccine clinical testing indicated that the antibody produced in the bodies of the subjects increased 15 to 20 times. 

"No serious side effects have been observed in these volunteers in the results of the third phase of the vaccine so far," he said.

Noora vaccine is one of the most efficient vaccines as the booster shot due to the relatively high amount of antibody it secretes.

So far, 62,661,757 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 55,297,216 have received the second dose, 22,775,852 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 140,734,825 doses.
