Tehran (IP)- Iranian Health Ministry announced on Wednesday that Childs between 5 to 10 years could get the COVID vaccine with their parental consent.

Iran PressIran news: Dr. Kamal Heidari, Deputy Minister of Health of the Ministry of Health, Treatment and Medical Education of Iran in a press conference on Wednesday said: With the approval of the Minister of Health and the approval of the National Task Force Against Coronavirus, in the first phase, vaccination of the age group over nine years began and from today, the immunization of the age group over five years will start in the country. 

The spread of the Omicron variant in Iran has worried health officials and staff so that the number of deaths has increased to more than 100 people. 

In recent months, Iran had significantly reduced the number of patients by first, second, and a booster dose of the Corona vaccine.
