Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 46 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,109.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 29, 2022, 7,156,746 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,863,298 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,743 cases, of whom 355 patients were hospitalized.

1,477 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 49,298,780 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 24 cities are red, 68 are orange, 306 are Yellow and 50 are blue zones.

So far, 63,872,818 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,810,058 have received the second dose, 26,109,681 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 146,792,557 doses.
