Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 42 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,063.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 28, 2022, 7,154,003 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,858,772 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,915 cases, of whom 350 patients were hospitalized.

1,513 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 49,236,429 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 24 cities are red, 68 are orange, 306 are yellow and 50 are blue zones.

So far, 63,847,113 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,771,574 have received the second dose, 26,036,995 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 146,655,682 doses.
