Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 50 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 140,021.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to March 27, 2022, 7,151,088 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,854,816 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 2,299 cases, of whom 382 patients were hospitalized.

1,577 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 49,176,155 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 24 cities are red, 68 are orange, 306 are Yellow and 50 are zones.

So far, 63,800,645 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 56,655,572 have received the second dose, 25,845,904 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 146,302,121 doses.
