Iran’s ambassador in Russia in a meeting with the Russian president’s special envoy in Afghanistan affairs and the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry’s 2nd Office on Asian Affairs exchanged viewpoints in the latest regional developments.

Iran PressEurope: Kazem Jalali wrote about the meeting with Zamir Kaulov on his Facebook page on Wednesday, saying: "In that meeting, we exchanged viewpoints on bilateral ties, as well as the latest regional and international developments."

“Iran and Russia have broad regional cooperation and the two countries regularly hold meetings on major regional developments, including consultations on Afghanistan and the South Caucasus region,” he added.

Jalali believes Tehran-Moscow cooperation in the region has led to regional security and stability, and the two counties closely cooperate in resolving the regional crises, which affects the regional interactions quite positively.
