Iran logs 224 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Saturday that 224 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 136,390.

 

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 26, 2022, 7,030,943 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,616,633 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 7,039 cases, of whom 1,621 patients were hospitalized.

3,966 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 47,087,743 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 184 cities are red, 187 are orange, 76 are yellow, and one is blue.

So far, 62,692,766 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 55,390,361 have received the second dose, 22,922,873 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 141,006,000 doses.
