Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 227 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 135,726.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to February 23, 2022, 6,998,975 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,561,376 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 15,340 cases, of whom 2,333 patients were hospitalized.

3,984 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU). So far, 46,862,129 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 337 cities are red, 64 are orange, and 47 are zones.So far, 62,640,464 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 55,262,698 have received the second dose, 22,617,635 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 140,520,797 doses.
