Tehran (IP) - Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 25 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 131,940.

Iran PressIran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to January 11, 2021, a total number of 6,210,298 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,054,670 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,961 cases, of whom 292 patients were hospitalized.

1,619 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 42,988,265 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

So far, 60,182,673 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 52,813,870 have received the second dose, 11,045,991 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 124,042,534 doses.
