Iran Press/ Iran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to January 02, 2022, 6,196,913 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 6,040,897 of the infected people recovered.
Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 1,510 cases, 294 patients were hospitalized and 2,658 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU). So far, 42,180,249 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.
So far, 59,869,552 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 52,042,271 have received the second dose, 8,091,164 have received the third dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 120,003,437 doses.
