Iran logs 134 COVID deaths in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Tuesday that 134 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 128,406.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to November 16, 2021, 6,051,642 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,720,893 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 6,430 cases, out of whom 1,053 patients were hospitalized.

3,477 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 37,254,424 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 26 cities are red, 87 are orange, 222 are yellow, and 113 are blue zones.

So far, 55,998,288 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 43,024,902 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 99,628,185 doses.
