Tehran(IP)- The Pomegranate Festival is underway in the Water and Fire Park of Tehran and will continue until November 21st, under full compliance with health protocols. 

Iran PressIran news: The Pomegranate Festival is one of the celebrations that is held in autumn in Iran. The event is usually held in cities of Iran that are more traditional. 

Also, other Iranian handicrafts, arts, eateries, and most importantly, pomegranate smoothies are put on display. The aim of holding the festival is to support national producers and products. 

Pomegranate has healthy amounts of fiber to help keep our body regulated, and is considered one of the fruits nutritionists suggest for weight loss and cholesterol level control while at the same time boosting immunity, improving circulation, and offering cancer protection.

Pomegranate is an excellent source of vitamin C, providing 48% of the daily recommended value and 58% of what's needed from vitamin K.
