Gilan (IP) - Turkey's trade attache to Tehran visited Anzali free zone in Gilan, northern Iran, and discussed expansion of trade cooperation with the provincial officials.

Iran PressIran News: Tahir Dingil announced the readiness of his country to conclude the necessary contracts between Iran's Anzali free zone and Turkish free zones to expand trade between the two countries.

Dingil said Anzali free zone had a good capacity to invite Turkish investors in the field of trade, production, insurance companies and services.

Deputy Head of Anzali Free Zone Organization for Port and Caspian Affairs for his part said one of the ways to develop the trade was to strengthen the China-Kazakhstan-Iran corridor and the Nestrak corridor, and that Turkey could act as an intermediary link between European countries and the Caspian states.

In the business meeting of Iran-Turkey Chambers of Commerce on October 23, Turkey's economic attache in Iran Salman Erdogan told Iran Press that Turkish commercial companies tended to make their investments in Iran to have better access to Iranian markets.
