Tehran (IP): Iran's Health Ministry announced on Friday that 185 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 122,197.

Iran Press/Iran news: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 08, 2021, 5,683,980 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,186,096 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 9,897 cases, out of whom 1,424 patients were hospitalized.5,451 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 33,039,254 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 7 cities are red, 108 are orange, 248 are yellow, and 85 are blue zones.

So far, 43,953,106 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 18,230,064 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 62,183,170 doses.
