Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Thursday that 233 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 122,012.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 07, 2021, 5,674,083 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,169,999 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 11,625 cases, out of whom 1,742 patients were hospitalized.

5,549 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 32,936,656 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 198 are orange, 176 are yellow, and 58 are blue zones.

So far, 43,543,099 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 17,881,303 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 61,424,402 doses.
