Iran daily COVID death toll: 238 in 24 hrs

Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Monday that 238 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 121,347.

Iran PressIran News:  According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 04, 2021, on Monday,  5,638,735 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,115,796 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 14,607 cases, out of whom 2,163 patients were hospitalized.

5,727 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 32,619,228 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 198 are orange, 176 are yellow, and 58 are blue zones.

So far, 41,809,085 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 16,950,755 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 58,759,840 doses.
