Tehran (IP) - A group of Russian state-owned oil and gas companies met with Iran's Deputy Oil Minister in the gas affairs to invest in the country's gas industry.

Iran PressIran News: During the meeting, Deputy Oil Minister for Gas Affairs Majid Chegeni emphasized the development of cooperation between the two countries in various gas industry sectors.

The Russian side also expressed interest in investing in gas industry projects, citing swaps and the natural gas trade as priorities for Russian oil and gas companies.

According to the report, the details of the proposed cases are to be reviewed, and negotiations will continue.
