Tehran (IP) – Iran's Health Ministry announced on Sunday that 229 death cases due to COVID-19 had been registered during the past 24 hours, bringing the total death toll to 121,109.

Iran PressIran News: According to definitive laboratory findings from yesterday to October 03, 2021, 5,624,128 people in the country have contracted COVID-19, and 5,095,627 of the infected people recovered.

Newly diagnosed patients with COVID-19 were 12,428 cases, out of whom 1,667 patients were hospitalized.

5,758 COVID-19 patients are in intensive care units (ICU).

So far, 32,517,316 COVID-19 diagnosis tests have been conducted across Iran.

According to the latest analysis, 16 cities are red, 198 are orange, 176 are yellow, and 58 are blue zones.

So far, 40,961,395 people have received the first dose of the COVID vaccine, 16,715,619 have received the second dose, and the total number of vaccines injected in the country reached 57,677,014 doses.
